Terms and conditions for training and seminars
The following constitute the terms and conditions to which applicants agree booking any training or seminar at the Hatchery Academy. Please, read them carefully before booking a training course, taylor made training or seminar at the Hatchery Academy. The hatchery reserves the right to review and update these terms and conditions periodically.
1 Description products of the Hatchery Academy
We describe our products the following:
A series of trainings or lessons to transfer knowledge and teach skills for a particular job or activity. Participants are required to attend the lessons at a certain location where a trainer or expert delivers the training.
Tylor Made Training
A series of trainings or lessons to transfer knowledge and teach skills for a particular job or activity, specially designed for a particular person or purpose. Participants are required to attend the lessons at a certain location where a trainer or expert delivers the training.
An occasion when a trainer of expert an a group of people meet to study and discuss a particular topic. Participants are required to attend the seminar at a certain location where a trainer or expert delivers the seminar.
Please Note that we reserve the right to change the course content of any training course or seminar without notice.
2 Registration at the Hatchery Academy
When booking or signing up for a training course or seminar at the Hatchery Academy we require you to register or sign up and provide us with certain information about yourself. In doing this, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form.
3 Booking a training course or seminar
3.1 Training courses, including some of the taylor made trainings, and seminars can be booked via the forms available on the Hatchery Academy website: www.hatcheryacademy.com.
3.2 When you submit a booking for a training course or seminar, your submission represents an offer to the Hatchery Academy to book you onto the course you selected. On submission you will receive an automated email of your selection.
3.3 The Hatchery Academy will accept your offer by entering your booking onto the Hatchery Academy system and sending you an email confirming that you have been booked, together with information on starting your learning.
4 Prices and sale taxes/VAT
4.1 Notice of new pricing will be given in advance, but the Hatchery Academy reserves the right to change prices without notice.
4.2 The training course, taylor made training or seminar fees include: tuition on the day(s), relevant course materials and refreshments.
4.3. If lunch or dinner is part of a training or seminars, the cost are included in the fee, unless explicitly specified otherwise.
4.4 Sales Taxes/ VAT are charged at the applicable rate depending on the product and/or the customer.
5.1 Payment can only be made by invoice. Receipts for payment are provided in electronic format.
5.2 Invoice payments terms are 14 days from data of invoice or at least 10 working days before the start of the training course or seminar, whichever is sooner.
5.3. If any information that you have given to us proves to be incorrect, which has resulted in our not charging you the correct fee for the training or seminar that you have booked, we reserve the right to adjust the fee (upwards or downwards) so that it is the correct fee for your circumstances.
6 Cancellations and transfers
6.1 If you need to cancel your place on a training course, you must notify the Hatchery Academy via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) more than 28 days before the course start date.
6.2 If you cancel your place on a training course by email at least 28 days before the course start date, you will receive a full refund less an admin fee of 10% (plus VAT) of the course fee.
6.3 If you cancel your place on a training course by email less than 28 days before the course start date or without sending us a notification by email, you will not be entitled to refund.
6.4. You are only entitled to a refund if full payment of the training or fee is made before cancellation.
6.5 If you need to cancel your place on a seminar, you are not entitled to refund. However you can transfer your booking onto a co-worker within the same company.
6.6 If you transfer your booking onto a co-worker from the same company, the Hatchery Academy must be notified via email more than 7 days before the seminar start date. This notification has to come from your employer and can only be done after full payment of the seminar fee.
7 Changes and/or cancellations by the Hatchery Academy
7.1 Where circumstances dictate, the Hatchery Academy reserves the right to alter published programmes, trainers and experts, fees, dates or venues without prior notice.
7.2 In extreme circumstances the Hatchery Academy may be forced to cancel a training course or seminar at any time. Extreme circumstances includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control.
7.3 In case the Hatchery Academy needs to cancel a training course or seminar, we will offer alternative dates or a full refund of the course or seminar fee. No compensation will be paid for additional costs incurred.
7.4 In extreme circumstances performance of the Hatchery Academy may be delayed or suspended. Extreme circumstances includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control. In such circumstances we will use our reasonable endeavour to find a solution by which our obligations may be performed despite the situation.
8 Ownership and intellectual property rights
8.1 All learning materials at a training or seminar are owned by the Hatchery Academy.
8.2 All intellectual property rights in all materials, including the design, graphics and text of printed materials are owned by the Hatchery Academy. No training materials may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to, in whole or in part, without the Hatchery Academy’s prior permission.
9 Health and safety at training courses
You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements that apply at the premises at which the training courses are provided.
The Hatchery Academy reserves the right to remove any participant from a training course or seminar whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate by the Hatchery Academy or it’s trainers. In these circumstances the Hatchery Academy will neither refund any fees nor reimburse any other costs.
11 Trainers and experts
11.1 The Hatchery Academy shall provide such trainers and experts to present training courses and seminars as it, in its sole discretion, deems fit. The Hatchery Academy is entitled at any time to substitute any trainer or expert with any person who, in the Hatchery Academy’s sole discretion, it deems suitable qualified to present the relevant course or seminar.
11.2 Opinions expressed by trainers and experts during a training course or seminar are those of individual trainers and experts. The Hatchery Academy does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of views and opinions expressed by trainers and experts.
